What should you Bring?

Official Dress

   OD will be worn everyday of the convention.  Be sure to bring

   enough white collared shirts and black slacks/skirts for four

   days.  Ladies: Bring plenty of pairs of pantyhose!  Runs in your

   does not look professional.  Don't forget your tie/scarf!

Comfortable Shoes (Black dress shoes and others)

Clothes for the convention dance and concert (see dress code).  

Swimsuit & Beach towel

Money for hotel and registration ($___ cash only), meals and souvenirs (about $36/day for meals)

Toiletries (toothbrush, shampoo, etc.)

Camera (optional)

Females:
- White collared long sleeve button down shirt
- Black knee length skirt
- Black pantyhose 
- Black close-toed heels or flats
- Official FFA jacket
- Official FFA scarf


Males
- White collared long sleeve button down shirt
- Black Slacks
- Black Dress shoes
- Official FFA jacket
- Official FFA tie

Casual:

 - Proper casual attire 

 Shirts sleeves must be two inches in width (about 3 fingers)
 Shirts must be of appropriate length and covering the entire stomach

Pants, shorts, skirts, and dresses must be no higher than fingertip length

No part of the attire may display indecent or improper messages or

   advertisements, i.e. alcohol, tobacco, or sexual references

Attire may not contain indecent or improper messages (alcohol, tobacco, sexual references, etc.). Males must wear shirts with sleeves.  No low-cut shirts or tops, bare midriffs, strapless or thin-strapped shirts are allowed.  Shirts must cover the entire stomach, shoulders, chest and back must be covered.  Sleeves must be at least two inches in width (about 3 fingers).  Shorts, dresses and skirts must be no higher than fingertip length when ares are at side and no saggy pants are allowed.

A good rule of thumb regarding dress code:  If you have to
ask, "Is this in dress code regulations?"---DON'T WEAR IT.

How much will this cost?
Registration- $40
Hotel- $135/night divided by number of students in room
Meals- $30 per day = $150
Special event- $33
Walking money- $50-$100
Total= $400-$500

Fundraiser
Any student who wants to come to the 2015 state convention will be required to 
help with the booth at polka fest.  The money raised at polka fest will directly help
pay for student activities at state convention.
